RICHard Everts

Richard is an Infectious Diseases Physician and Microbiologist. Richard’s main research interest is in antibiotic pharmacokinetics.







Dr Ben Darlow is a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Specialist based in Wellington, New Zealand.


is involved with research and teaching at the University of Otago’s medical school in Wellington, and clinical practice at Capital Sports Medicine.










Rebecca Grainger

Rebecca is an academic rheumatologist who is passionate about patient-focused care and engaging with colleagues in primary and secondary care to provide the highest quality collaborative care for people with arthritis.


Rebecca’s academic interests include outcome measures, non-pharmacological management of musculoskeletal disease, use of information technology solutions to optimise care for people with chronic rheumatic diseases and medical education.





Angela Brenton-Rule

Angela is a NZ registered podiatrist with a passion for research. 

Angela’s interest in rheumatic conditions affecting the feet came from her involvement in the establishment of a specialist rheumatology clinic, at the AUT School of Podiatry, in 2010. 






Hamish is a New Zealand trained Orthopaedic surgeon. He gained Fellowship in 2003.


His special interests are in knee, foot, and ankle surgery.







Dr Hardy has been working for the last couple of years  as Clinical Leader of Pain Services for CCDHB and visiting Specialist to Hawke's Bay DHB. He was previously Lead clinician in Pain services in Gloucestershire and Herefordshire in the UK for 20 years including sabbatical time as Associate Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA.


Dr Hardy trained in Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine in the UK and in Sweden. He has published on anatomy, interventional techniques, drug trials and pain medicine.
